Born and raised in Kansas, Brandon is no stranger to severe weather. He began chasing in the mid 90’s while still in high school. He earned his bachelors degree in meteorology from Mississippi State University in 2007. His most memorable chase experience was riding out an EF4 tornado in the Tornado Intercept Vehicle in May of 2013.
